Originally launched in April of 2022, in partnership with Fountains Church, Bradford, and now based at St Peter's Church, Shipley.

 

We embarked on a pioneering journey of innovation and creativity, learning as we go, bringing pro wrestling and faith together.​

We created a worshiping community, where body-slams would happen in the ring and baptisms outside of it.

Our worship and sermons are tailored around particular themes relevant to the groups we are drawing through the door,

while inside the ropes we play out stories from the Bible and bring it all to life in a way that is unmatched and unforgettable!

'Wrestling Church' has grown into a flourishing 'congregation' and spurred us forward.

We baptised over 30 people in our first few years and we have so many stories of individuals, families and even our wrestlers, growing in their faith, deepening their relationship with God and surrendering their lives to Christ.

 

Our methods may not be conventional, but 'you will know them by their fruit', certainly applies.

Wrestling Church is something special and the world is watching.

Our recent coverage on local, national and international, tv and news media,

(including BBC, SKY, ITV, Channel 5, The Project, The Daily Mail, Jeremy Vine, and The Times to name just a few)

has brought more eyes and more lives to us, and we direct them straight to Jesus.

2025 will be a year of going deeper, going further and reaching wider.
